New office and leadership expansion enables Windsor Advantage, a leading provider of commercial loan servicing to banks and credit unions, to support significant growth and increased Small Business Administration 7(a) lending in the Southeast.
CHARLESTON, SC, October 19, 2017 — Windsor Advantage, LLC, ranked the nation’s No. 93 fastest-growing financial service firm by Inc. Magazine in its 36th annual Inc. 5000 report, recently opened a new office in the historic district of Charleston to accommodate increased government guaranteed lending among community banks in the Southeastern United States.
The region’s overall economic growth has helped play a significant role in the near 150% year-over-year increase of total dollars provided to South Carolina small businesses through the 7(a) Program (as of September 30, 2017). Since 2015, Windsor clients have closed and funded nearly $350 million in SBA 7(a) and USDA loans for borrowers in South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida and Georgia. These loans have help to create and preserve more than 7,000 jobs in the area.
In addition to the new office space on King Street, Windsor announced today the appointment of Michael Breckheimer, 30, as Chief Operating Officer.
“The decision to expand our physical presence into the Charleston area was a logical step in our business development strategy,” said Breckheimer. “The new location allows our team to operate in close proximity to several fast-growing clients. We also have the opportunity to further expand staffing and assist with the development of client USDA initiatives in the Southeast, with a particular focus on the Business & Industry (B&I) Program and Rural Energy for America Program (REAP).”
As Chief Operating Officer, Breckheimer will be responsible for Windsor’s overall execution and will lead the company’s processing, servicing and risk management teams. He will continue to report to Windsor’s Managing Director, Shawn Andrews.
“Mike balances a breadth of operational knowledge and leadership skills with an ability to manage strategically,” said Andrews. “He understands the tactical details to ensure all departments are operating efficiently and effectively while prioritizing our long-term vision as a company.”
Prior to joining Windsor, Mike was a senior management consultant in the KPMG financial institutions group. Mike graduated with honors from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in finance and accounting.
